How ATTENTION ASSIST® Works

Many other brands offer driver attention monitors, but the ATTENTION ASSIST® system is an industry first. Using an intelligent algorithm and sensor, it senses driver drowsiness on extended drives. Here’s a quick look at how it works:

  • During the first few minutes of your journey around Scottsdale, the system assesses your driving style using over 70 parameters of driving behaviors.
  • As you drive, ATTENTION ASSIST® picks up on certain steering corrections you make that could indicate driver fatigue.
  • The system doesn’t just monitor how you drive; it also monitors the way you interact with the cabin’s controls and buttons. External influencers, such as slippery road conditions or strong side-blowing winds, are also considered.
  • The system will alert you and suggest that you stop for a break if it determines that you’re experiencing drowsiness on the road.
